EDT-MAIN PhD Scientific Day / NanoWal annual meeting

The EDT-MAIN 2021 PhD students' Scientific Day is co-organized with the Wallonia Network for Nanotechnology (NanoWal).

After many months of postponed and/or online conferences, we hope to welcome you in Brussels this autumn.

2 experts have kindly accepted to give a keynote lecture:

Prof. Sylvie Bégin-Colin (Director of the European Engineering School in Chemistry, Material and Polymer - Université de Strasbourg) on " Engineering of magnetic-based nanoplatforms for theranostic "

Dr Mercedes Boronat Zaragozá (Tenured Scientist (CSIC) at the Institute of Chemical Technology - Universitat Politècnica de València) on " Computational modelling of heterogeneous catalysts: copper single atoms and subnanometric clusters "

This meeting is above all an opportunity for EDT-MAIN PhD students to present and share their work with the "MAIN" community of the FWB.
10 slots for short talks will be available for PhD students or young post-doctoral researchers (one or two years after the thesis).
Poster sessions (open to all) will be organized during coffee-breaks and lunch to allow discussions on the latest outcomes in the field.
 

The participation is free but the registration is mandatory !

On campus, masks must be worn inside buildings and outside if there is a high concentration of people.

The Covid Safe Ticket (CST) will be required to participate in the event.

Although wearing a mask is no longer compulsory in the conference room with the CST, it is still recommended, as well as the respect of social distancing.
